    List of Concrete Services

    Concrete Polishing

In creating a shiny glass finish to the concrete slab, we utilize a variety of diamond grinding systems in combination with our hardener products to cut and refine the surface, creating a dense surface to obtain the brilliant concrete surface shine.

    Epoxy / Polyurethane Coatings

Popular in many applications, especially garage floors, Epoxy and Polyurethane Coatings are easy to maintain. Epoxy Vinyl Chip System is an elegant, durable, chemical-resistant and easy to clean surface. The vinyl chip system provides granite look without the cost of expensive stone. Ideal for garages, kitchens, restaurants, decks, driveways, counter tops or any other surface. Hot tires will not effect our system and will not be de-laminate or peel.   This treatment is great for spalled and cracked areas that require filling.  Ask us about  our vinyl chips, colored quartz, or metallic to achieve the look you desire.

    Decorative Concrete Overlays

Decorative concrete overlays cost effectively cover up surface imperfections, converting a dull, warn out surface into an exciting floor surface. This technique is popular as it eliminates a variety of costs associated with removal and replacement. These costs range from financial (labor, time, transporting, disposal) to the eco-unfriendly nature in the removal process.

    Concrete Acid Stains

One of the the most popular ways to achieve color is through acid-staining. Chemical stains can be applied to new or old, plain or colored concrete surfaces. Although they are often called acid stains, acid isn’t the ingredient that colors the concrete. Metallic salts in the acidic water-based solution react with hydrated lime (calcium hydroxide) in hardened concrete to yield insoluble, colored compounds that become a permanent part of the concrete.

    Concrete Dye

Concrete acid stain and concrete dyes are often similar in cost but possess different characteristics and therefore have specific applications.  When a chemical stain is applied to the concrete surface,  a chemical reaction leads to a change in color.  This technique is often better in UV exposed areas.  In addition, concrete stains tend to last longer and are more durable to surface penetration.  One of the drawbacks versus dyes is less control of color where there is sometimes more contrast of light and dark hues in the coloration.

The dye process is the application of a pigment on surface of concrete to change color. Essentially, concrete dyes are translucent, penetrating color solutions. Unlike acid-based stains, they do not react chemically with concrete. Instead, they contain very fine coloring agents that penetrate into the concrete surface. With dyes, it’s easier to control the surface coloration and consistency of color throughout the surface.  Both water and solvent-based dyes are available with each type having unique qualities.

    Concrete Sealing

Joint fills, sealing cracks sealing, to filling holes, Concrete Polishing and Coating has you covered. Our maintenance services are capable of handling many concrete surface problems.
